Leaving Australia, arriving Korea

Well, we had a bit of a delay in leaving Oz. The plane was an hour late in arriving, so conversely we were an hour late leaving. The flight over was brilliant. Great plane, fantastic service, every whim catered to. Kids loved the in seat screens and remote controls.
Storaged our luggage at the airport as there is quite a lot as you can see. (got slugged excess- not too bad though) Got the shuttle to the motel- nive place, cheap, close to food and QUIET!!!!!! Didn't get to bed until after 10pm local time. Kids slept in this morning and we had a bed picnic for brekkie. Finding the American style Korean food a bit sweet for our palette. Took the shuttle back to the airport and then got our selves on the right bus and found our lovely accom in Seoul. High Five to the Pearses! Not lost so far and all bookings/choices have been brilliant. Love the internet for researching and booking sdtuff. This county certainly knows how to spoil us and make us feel welcome. Everyone loves the kids and we have had so much help. Any time we look a bit lost, someone asks us if we need help. We have had luch and a bit of a poke around the streets. It is very humid here and lots of rain, nice when it is overcast, but very hot and sticky when sun comes out. So all in all we are feeling really happy. Trying lots of new things and loving the hospitality. Our language skills suck, but are managing to get by with signals, pointing, and things I had brought with us in English and Korean. Most signs are also in English which helps a lot. Kids are great and embracing the adventure... ask us about the bidet in the toilet... Jack has a funny story about what this button does! Hope you are all well. Don't worry about us we are great. Off to meet the rest of the new teachers tomorrowand travel to our new apartment.

Moving OS

I took some photo's on my phone while the great pack up went on around me. progressively there were more boxes and the house seemed empty and sad (particularly the kids bedrooms)
