Weekend in Seoul
Had a great weekend away. Stayed in the heart of shopping district- Myeongdong. Found a few treasures, including a secret garden at a palace and some squirrels playing in the trees. Yes they really do collect nuts in preparation for winter. We went back to bean pole( a shop we found when we first arrived. There was a very tall Korean man in a top hat and Pete was still taller than him. Do you like the ice creams- almost bigger than the kids. The street food is fantastic in this area. Shops close at 10.30 pm... plenty of time to indulge that habit!
TCIS 50th Anniversary weekend
So we always seem to lob into a school when there is something significant and cool happening. This was the 50th birthay celebrations of the school with lots of activites on Saturday. The kids had a group called the mini monsters who competed and had a great time. Check out their pyramid and hula hoop skills. The dirt patch is the site of the new campus in techno valley- room to spread!

Off to Seoul this weekend for some R+R. Need to get some winter coats. Weather is cooling off at night but the days are glorious. Some trees starting to colour and the humidity has gone. i love my job when the weather is like this!
