Gingerbread house
Holidays have started!
Today we woke up to a snowy scene and it snowed for most of the day.
We had a very relaxed day and decided to finally make our gingerbread house. We baked the house pieces last week and so today we constructed.

We think it looks great and it is a good opportunity for family self timer shot or 2!

It's beginning to look and smell a lot like Christmas...
Our snow globe collection. Jenny started our collection with Jack's first Christmas in 2002 and we have been collecting one each year since. They made it from Oz and we have added 2 since being here.
This is our baby tree... can you see all of Molly's 'friends' underneath? Do you like Jack's special angel he made in Pre K in Canberra. I tell you we shipped a lot of precious items with us!
Happy Christmas everyone.
We hope you can all find some special family time.

Seoul in December
So suddenly the panic spread through the house as we realized we had not finished our Christmas shopping.
With a top temp. expected below zero, off we went to Seoul on the KTX. The fields looked so beautiful glistening with snow as we glided through the blizzard outside... until of course we got to the station and had to get out!
We battled wind and snow, only 2 beds to sleep in, extreme Motel room heating and crazy Korean ajama's but finished the shopping.
Pete left me with map in hand on the subway by myself... that is he had the map in hand- me I had nothing.
Clearly I worked it out!
Just another day in Korea!

The Namdaemun markets are just something else... a whole other world of ingenuity... take transportation of goods as an example.
Apparently we just don't pack our sack trucks correctly in Australia. Why you can get at least 20 more boxes on them if you really try. Molly doesn't realize her pressie is in the bag. Check out her pouty little bottom lip! Clearly she didn't get something she thinks she should have!
Clearly I worked it out!
Just another day in Korea!
