Spain! (Days 1,2,3 in Barcelona)

We have arrived home safe and sound from our week in Spain...  long flights and too much airplane food were not the highlights of the week.
Thankfully there has been no jetlag from the 8 hour time difference in Spain.

CLICK HERE for a taste of our first 3 days in Barcelona.
Such a beautiful city on the Meditteranean. It had a real Sydney feel and buzz to it. The weather was superb here and so was the food and hospitality. We did enjoy the plentiful jamon (Ham), queso (cheese) and caffe con leche (coffee).
The old streets around La Rambla, Flamenco show, Markets and the Gaudi architecture were the highlights of our stay here.
Here are the kids at Park Guell with the Gaudi iguana in person!

March in Daejeon...

Jack was thrilled to be the Pride, Purpose and Passion award winner for his class this month.
I managed to capture his face as his name was read out...

Look how chuffed he is... and one of his friends is giving him a high five on the way past.

The next week we were invited to listen to Jack read some of his poetry from his portfolio of work.

Last weekend, the weather was nice, so we jumped into the car and headed out of town to the National Park. While spring is sort of in the air, there are no blossoms yet. It was nice to get a little warmth and to find a new place which we will definitely visit again later in the Spring.
ok, it doesn't look scary from this angle I agree.

Molly has turned into a giant!

Nice pic Dad!

A loo with a view!

The spiky stones to massage your feet.

We found a little friend

This spot would be lovely in summer!
