Last beautiful days of fall...

We have been so blessed with beautiful weather throughout October and well into November this year.
While the snow is falling today it feel like winter is well and truly here.

Here are some lovely pics of Autumn colour from around our apartment complex.
The Maples this year were absolutely spectacular!

We also hosted 6 other schools form the Asia/Pacific region for an Orchestra event.
Here are some images from the opening ceremony, including the coolest Taekwondo demonstration ever!!!!!!!!

Orchestra musicians ready to perform their major concert.

Now winter is finally here with our first snowfall on the 17th of November...

and then of course snow again today (27th Nov.)!

Jack's swim meet in Seoul

On a cold Saturday in November we travelled to Chadwick International School in Incheon (near the airport) for the 6-8 swim meet.

This was Jack's first competitive swim meet where he would actually race other students.

He swam 2 relays, the medley as the breast stroke leg and the freestyle as the lead off swimmer.

He did a great job to lead his freestyle relay to victory in their race.

Here is the video of Jack's last part of his breastroke...

October... maybe the busiest month of the year!

We have had an exceptionally busy month in October.

I coached 2 major tennis tournaments, one in Beijing, one in Seoul,  plus a myriad of trips to Seoul for other tennis games during our regular season. I think I made 7 trips to Seoul for Tennis in October.

Jack had a soccer Jamboree and Molly had a soccer Jamboree. Jack's was at SIS and then TCIS and Molly travelled to GSIS.

We also had some Halloween fun thrown into the mix... just in case we were feeling bored.

The weather during October was absolutely beautiful and we had a lot of time outdoors enjoying the sunshine.

Jack's regular team was undefeated during the Jamboree. He then tried out for the All Stars team (which he made) and played a tournament in Seoul as part of that team. The All Stars made it to and drew the final, only to be beaten in Penalty Kicks after overtime. It was very exciting and Jack was blessed to be a part of it as a 6th Grader.

Yes... it was a very busy month!
