Here is Molly with her funny little Basketbal/Gymnastics dribbling routine.
She does love turning ordinary things (like dribbling a basketball) into something fancy!

Just another week...
This last week we had 5 schools from the Asia Pacific region vist our school for a choir festival.
We offered to host 2 boys from Concordia International School in Shanghai. Both of the boys were Canadian and really nice guys. Both are seniors with high hope for their University acceptances.
Both boys enjoyed the sights, tastes and fun or Korea and got to see and experience lots of different parts of Korean and International Culture.
The culminating performance of the choir was absolutely amazing.
Yesterday Molly and Peter decided to clean out all of the piggy banks and sort through the coins to take to the bank.
It amazed me all of the opportunities to learn about a countries culture are wrapped up in coins. There were coins from Spain, Korea, Thailand and Australia in the banks. Molly found a coin made in the year we were born and learned a lot about Australia and other countries in those coins. Molly then decided she would set up a shop in our lounge room.
Today we went to the supermarket and found a whole area owned by Molly!
Molly was pretty chuffed and now wants even more to set up her own business one day.

Jack got his blue belt in Taekwondo
Last Thursday Jack had to do his testing to try for his blue belt in Taekwondo.
I managed to sneak in during the test and caught some video of him and his friend Ethan.
Jack is on the far side and Ethan is closest to me. They look so alike, it is hard to tell them apart.

Fall pics
Now that the tennis season is over, Peter has started coaching the Girls Basketball team. Meaning the parenting duties have officially switched.
I am glad to have been involved in the tennis season, but I am glad to have my afternoons back and not be travelling 2 and 3 times a week for games... Pete can enjoy that now.
Last week the weather was unseasonably warm with 22 -24 degree days (not unusual for Canberra or Adelaide at this time of the year, but certainly unusual in the Northern hemisphere).
The school continues to solve it's financial issues and we can now be rest assured that we are viable for the next year. A new investor is close to signing us off, so things are looking up- PHEW.
It still means staff cuts though and that is a hard one to deal with. We are not sure of our positions for next year and also unsure for so many of our friends. It will be a hard time of decision making for us this month.
Here are some pics of the kids in front of a couple of beautiful fall trees on campus.
Jack has been working hard to get his blue belt in Taekwondo... he is ready but unfortunately his instructor was not at class to assess him. Here Jack and his friend Ethan are practicing their moves.
Molly was having a bit of fun playing hide and seek with some other kids. Do you like her hiding spot? Fortunately it was empty with a clean liner :)
