We offered to host 2 boys from Concordia International School in Shanghai. Both of the boys were Canadian and really nice guys. Both are seniors with high hope for their University acceptances.
Robin and Jeff after their performance |
Both boys enjoyed the sights, tastes and fun or Korea and got to see and experience lots of different parts of Korean and International Culture.
The culminating performance of the choir was absolutely amazing.
Yesterday Molly and Peter decided to clean out all of the piggy banks and sort through the coins to take to the bank.
It amazed me all of the opportunities to learn about a countries culture are wrapped up in coins. There were coins from Spain, Korea, Thailand and Australia in the banks. Molly found a coin made in the year we were born and learned a lot about Australia and other countries in those coins. Molly then decided she would set up a shop in our lounge room.
Today we went to the supermarket and found a whole area owned by Molly!
Molly was pretty chuffed and now wants even more to set up her own business one day.
