It seems strange that after 3 weeks of Winter break over Christmas, that we would go back to work for 2 weeks and then have another week of holidays. Well in Asia, Lunar New Year is a big deal and one of only 2 times in Korea when shops will actually close. The roads are usually chaotic and as a foreigner there are certain days where we avoid traveling at all costs because it is so crazy.
This year we didn't really have any plans for Lunar, however, that hasn't stopped us from enjoying the week and staying pretty busy.
First on the agenda was to get our apartment back into order and to take down all of the Christmas deco's and tree. If you saw our storage options you would understand that packing this all up and stacking it back is a major all day operation. So while Peter got to it with this, I got into all of the papers, children's clothes, shoes etc and had a good clean out and declutter.
We played a lot of board games during this week. The kids love Cadoo, Lego Ninjago, Junior Scrabble/ Monopoly and Pictionary, as well as some card games. Let it be known the Pearse's did not play one game of Uno (normally our favorite). Jack had friends over and played quite a lot of chess and Lego.
Tuesday we went skiing, with Molly's real first time learning to ski (last time, she was like a little penguin skiing in between her Daddy's legs). We had some lovely moments all skiing together in the afternoon as Molly progressed so quickly. It was a VERY cold day though.
We also caught up with friends and cooked dinner for some and had dinner out with others. We saw Puss In Boots at the movies which was fun and bought an electric piano ( a big purchase). With lots of violin, piano and guitar practice, we are all trying a bit harder to be consistent with our musical instruments.

We have had a really fun week and some more R+R which was crazily needed.
Finally, this is a link to a video Peter took of our last run of the day with all 4 of us skiing together. Fun!
