With the warmer weather Molly has been our riding again.
She was given this bike and it has purple tassles and pick clicky things on the spokes- she loves it because it is so 'fancy'.
On Valentines Day, Molly made cards for all of her friends in first grade and they all made cards for her. So many sweet messages and memories.
Last weekend Jack went to a 10th birthday party for his friend Tanner. Tanner is new to TCIS this year and Jack was the first boy he met. It is nice that Tanner's family will be here as Jack has had some close friends leave over the last 2 years.
Wednesday was Jack's birthday.
We celebrated in his classroom with lego cupcakes. His class sang him Happy birthday twice- once in English and then in Korean.
Light sabers ready for the Star wars party on Saturday. |
He woke at 6am so excited and we made him come and lay in bed with us until 6:30 (extra cuddles), but his wriggling got us all up. Molly also came in early, excited too it was Jack's birthday.
We gave him a Nintendo Wii game console. He was pretty surprised and pretty chuffed. Molly was too as she was happy this was a present for her too. He was also happy to be old enough to be given money to spend how he wants to. He has been saving crazily for a certain Lego set, so now he is almost there with his savings thanks to the birthday cash!
On Saturday, Jack and five friends will come to our house for Star Wars movies, cake and of course battles of light sabers to the death. Pete is in charge of the R2D2 cake this year... wish him luck.
Molly and I also spent some time having our nails done together- a fun girly thing to do here in Korea that is so cheap. Molly chose pink sparkles of course.
