October

October has flown by...
We have been here and there is Korea. Most notable we went on a day trip to Ulsan to have a tour of the largest ship building facility in the world. Can you believe they feed over 30,000 people a day in their cafeteria. A parent at TCIS was kind enough to organize the tour and lunch for us for the day.

My tennis team has been traveling all over Korea for matches and tournaments. We have not really had great results this year, even though my team is stronger than last year. Still the girls have learned a lot about being athletes and managing themselves in stressful and busy circumstances. I spent 3 nights in Seoul last week for an Asia- Pacific tournament with schools from Vietnam, Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul and Hog Kong. These are all International Schools so there were many nationalities of students playing. A great experience for the students.

Jack had his soccer jamboree and unfortunately I could not go because I was coaching Tennis. However, he had a great time and is turing into a great little soccer player- first Pearse ever!

Molly has been doing dance club and had a performance this morning with her little group. While she was looking a little stage frightened this morning she still enjoyed herself!

Jack is also learning trumpet this year and has started lesson with one of our senior boys. He is loving it and has been tooting away each night trying to get better.
Tomorrow Jack has his Taekwondo test for his brown belt. I'm not sure he has been practicing as much as he should have, but we hope he can move up to this belt.

Here are some pictures from October:
