March is over...

March is over.
It has been a busy month with Molly's musical "The Wizard of Oz", Spring break and lots of school in between.
During Spring break Peter and Jack went to Chiang Mai in Thailand with a service trip to Grace Orphanage. It is an orphanage run by a Korean missionary Pastor and his wife. Each year students from TCIS visit and serve for a week with the children. Elementary students normally do not go on these trips, but Jack was allowed to go so Peter could attend (there are lots of advantages to being a staff kid). They had a great time and Peter came home with orange hair! They rode elephants, helped cook and clean, swam, played lots of games and generally enjoyed the love of the Grace orphanage children.



Molly and I spent the week hanging out, playing together, doing some craft and we had a quick trip to Seoul. We had lots of girl activities as you will see in the photo's. I think Molly enjoyed herself because she talked and talked and talked all week.
We also had Easter, though the weather did not cooperate and it didn't feel like Easter or Spring at all! It was cold, windy, a little wet and a very high level of yellow dust.

For those who have been concerned about the North Korean problems, we are keeping a close eye on what is going on and are in contact with both the Australian and Korean embassy's via email. The immediate threat is currently seen to be low. We have been sensible in getting all of our important documents together just in case!
