Last Sunday we decided we needed some adventure in our life so we grabbed the Daejeon city guide and started flicking.
We found a bus map and off we went.
Little did we know that we were about to fall into the Blossom festival (with alas not many blossoms)
What a funny litttle adventure to the festival which is held in a corporations gardens (termed loosely).
There are some blossom trees, but the people watching, jumping castles (under a major highway) and the traditional games were so fun.
and why is the grass brown... not because it is dry or hot... but because it is still cold and the green hasn't started yet!
The Koreans are the masters of simple games.
It was interesting that all of the young children knew how to play their traditional versions of games... probably because they still do play together nd spend time together as a family when they have some time. Time might be precious to Koreans but they spend it with their families when they get it.
